Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will oversee and direct warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, servicing and distribution of products. The ideal candidate will optimize warehouse productivity, streamline processes and maintain high standards of service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily finished product warehouse activities, system service plans, docking and team leadership.
- . Perform daily inspections, assess warehouse keeper performance and maintain a safe environment.
- Facilitate cooperation among warehouse teams, vehicle, receiving, shipping and data teams to achieve daily objectives.
- Liaise with customs clearance, personnel, safety and production departments for seamless information exchange.
- Identify, summarize and resolve warehouse problems, contributing to core management decisions.
- Initiate problem identification, reporting and resolution, demonstrating proactive work approach.
- Analyze daily work arrangements, coordinating personnel, vehicles and equipment.
- Strictly follow company protocols, prioritizing tasks to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure products are handled, stored and dispatched to meet quality standards.
- Foster warehouse team growth through training, coaching and performance evaluations.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Evaluate warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Proven track record of successful Warehouse projects and team management
- Proven experience in managing large factory/company warehouses, familiar with factory logistics models, knowledge of planning, production, warehousing and heating preparation processes.
- Ability to adapt to shift systems, working 12-hour days (day/night rotations).
- Proven track record of managing over thirty (30) team members.
- Excellent motivational skills for grassroots employees.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility.
- Ability to withstand pressure and take responsibility.
- Decisive decision-making and problem-solving
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Good physical condition and endurance to handle regular physical activity and heavy lifting as required.
