CASHIER

JOB SUMMARY

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Duties include processing payments, issuing receipts, managing cash registers, and providing excellent customer service. The Cashier also maintains a clean and organized workspace, resolves customer inquiries, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process sales transactions using cash registers or POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and scan items efficiently.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow company policies and procedures for security and cash handling.

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
•  Minimum of three years’ experience as a Cashier
• Female candidates not more than 25 years
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and POS system
• Strong math and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
