MAINTENANCE, FACILITY AND PROJECT OFFICER  Full Time

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Oversee the development of the project and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently
• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on a range of equipment, furniture, buildings and facilities.
• Pro-actively identify maintenance and repair tasks needed and carry out the necessary maintenance or report for action by others.
• Planning and organizing events such as youth sports leagues, camps, and classes.
• Carry out checks and inspections as necessary to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and well maintained.
• Provide technical support to co-workers, Maintenance Manager and Technical Management to improve and develop the organizations Technical services.
• Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives
• Evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with other service providers to organize, coordinate and promote programs or events
• Managing the budget of the facility or program to ensure that costs are controlled while generating revenue through member fees or program fees

Requirements

• Degree in Project management or Social Sciences with 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Ability to develop project strategies and analyze risks and opportunities
• Strong work ethic and strong customer service orientation
• Excellent ethical and moral standards and good sense of judgment.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Good communication, people management and leadership skills
• Must be dependable and reliable
