Job Description
The Accounts / Administrative Assistant will provide effective administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth daily operations of the school. The role involves handling basic bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting admissions and fee management, and coordinating administrative and school operational activities under supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide basic front-desk services, including receiving visitors and responding to inquiries.
2. Maintain organized administrative and financial filing systems.
3. Support admissions processes by preparing invoices and updating student records.
4. Prepare and issue official letters and communications.
5. Coordinate logistics for school events and meetings.
6. Manage office supplies and general administrative duties.
7. Record daily receipts accurately.
8. Issue official receipts, cheques, and financial documents.
9. Manage petty cash and maintain records.
10. Prepare bank deposits.
11. Assist with basic reconciliations.
12. Maintain student fee records.
13. Ensure proper documentation and filing.
14. Support audit and reporting processes.
15. Manage internal and external communication.
16. Act as an official point of contact when assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
2. 6–12 months experience in administration, banking, or clerical work.
3. Basic experience handling financial documents.
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Word, and Excel.
5. Willingness to learn.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Organizational and multitasking ability.
8. High level of confidentiality and integrity.
