Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Electrical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting and selling our electrical products and engineered solutions, including control panels, transformers, switchgear, and related systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 1.⁠ ⁠Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and introducing new product developments.
 2.⁠ ⁠Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence, networking, and participation in industry events.
 3.⁠ ⁠Prepare and present persuasive technical presentations tailored to client needs.
 4.⁠ ⁠Develop and submit competitive quotations, follow up on proposals, and manage client accounts end-to-end.
 5.⁠ ⁠Plan sales strategies, monitor progress, and maintain robust reporting systems.
 6.⁠ ⁠Analyze sales performance, prepare periodic sales reports, and forecast future sales targets based on market trends.
 7.⁠ ⁠Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
 8.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product specifications, development timelines, and deliveries are met.
 9.⁠ ⁠Provide clients with technical guidance, including product demonstrations, application support, and training.
10.⁠ ⁠Contribute to the design of custom solutions and control panel configurations based on specific customer requirements.
11.⁠ ⁠Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological developments.
12.⁠ ⁠Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and technical trainings to enhance expertise.
13.⁠ ⁠Share market feedback with internal teams to support product improvement and strategy development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

 1.⁠ ⁠Minimum of 5 – 8, years proven experience as a Sales Engineer in the electrical or industrial automation sector.
 2.⁠ ⁠Proven track record of achieving annual revenue of at least USD 500,000 through electrical product and control panel sales.
 3.⁠ ⁠BSc in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
 4.⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of electrical products, control systems, and industrial solutions.
 5.⁠ ⁠Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
 6.⁠ ⁠Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
 7.⁠ ⁠Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
 8.⁠ ⁠Solid understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
 9.⁠ ⁠Strong technical proficiency in electrical engineering principles and product applications.
10.⁠ ⁠Excellent sales and business development capabilities.
11.⁠ ⁠Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer-centric mindset.
12.⁠ ⁠Ability to translate technical features into customer value propositions.
13.⁠ ⁠Strong problem-solving abilities and solution-oriented thinking.
