Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Facility Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operation of company facilities. The ideal candidate should be a proactive male professional based in or around Tema, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise and coordinate all facility maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and building repairs.
2. Monitor the performance of janitorial, security, and maintenance staff or contractors.
3. Ensure that all facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
4. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
5. Manage facility-related budgets, inventory, and procurement of supplies and equipment.
6. Coordinate office setup, space planning, and relocation projects as required.
7. Respond promptly to emergency repair situations and oversee preventive maintenance schedules.
8. Liaise with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
9. Prepare reports on facility operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Building Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2–4 years proven experience in facility coordination, maintenance supervision, or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing is an added advantage.
4. Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is required
5. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to multitask and handle work under pressure.
7. Must be physically fit and willing to conduct routine facility checks.
8. Must reside in or near Tema.
