Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Professional to oversee and manage all human resource functions within our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of HR experience, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
2. Manage the full recruitment and selection process, from sourcing to onboarding.
3. Oversee employee relations and resolve workplace issues professionally.
4. Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Act and all statutory employment regulations.
5. Coordinate performance management, employee appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.
6. Identify training and development needs and coordinate employee training programs.
7. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
8. Oversee payroll inputs, leave management, attendance, and employee benefits administration.
9. Advise management on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.
10. Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
11. Handle compensation and benefits administration.
12. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies within the factory.
13. Prepare HR reports and provide strategic recommendations to management.
14. Liaise with government and regulatory bodies on employment-related matters when required.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
2. Professional HR certification (CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum of 5 years' proven HR experience.
4. Previous HR experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is mandatory.
5. Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
6. Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR administration.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
10. Must reside in Tema or nearby communities.
11. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple HR functions effectively
