Job Description
The Preschool Head will lead and manage the daily operations of the preschool department. The role involves ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports early childhood growth and development in alignment with the school’s faith-based values and educational philosophy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee and coordinate all preschool programs and activities.
2. Supervise and support preschool teachers and staff to maintain high teaching standards.
3. Design and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and enriching educational programs.
4. Ensure that teaching methods and materials align with early childhood education best practices and the school’s faith-based mission.
5. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
6. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where every child thrives.
7. Monitor and evaluate student progress and ensure individual needs are addressed.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and school activities.
9. Work with management to plan events, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with educational regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. A degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
2. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in early childhood education or preschool administration.
3. Proven leadership and organizational skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Must demonstrate a passion for working with children and fostering holistic development.
6. Knowledge of curriculum design and child-centered teaching methodologies.
7. Ability to mentor and develop teaching staff to enhance instructional quality.
8. Familiarity with child safety, safeguarding, and health regulations within a school setting.
WORKING HOURS: MONDAY – FRIDAY (7AM – 3PM)
REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER
