Job Description

The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, and driving product or service sales to meet set targets. This role requires a motivated and persuasive individual who can identify customer needs, present appropriate solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Promote and sell the company’s products to existing and prospective customers.
2.    Identify new business opportunities through market research, referrals, cold calling, and networking.
3.    Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
4.    Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
5.    Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients as needed.
6.    Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
7.    Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions to boost sales.
8.    Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools or reporting systems.
9.    Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
10.    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide relevant insights.
11.    Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events when required.
12.    Ensure timely collection of payments and assist in credit control when needed.

 

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
1.    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2.    Minimum three years’ experience as a sales officer in the manufacturing industry is a plus. 
3.    Familiarity with sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
4.    Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5.    Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
6.    Ability to work independently and meet targets.
7.    Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
8.    Professional, persuasive, and customer focused.
9.    Highly organized with attention to detail.
10.    Adaptable to changing market demands.

WORKING HOURS: MONDAY – FRIDAY (8AM-5PM)
