Job Description
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying business opportunities, and managing client relationships within the construction industry. The preferred candidate must have solid experience selling construction materials, equipment, building products, or related services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Generate new business opportunities in the construction industry.
2. Sell company products to contractors, developers, project managers, and related stakeholders.
3. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
5. Conduct site visits to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
6. Handle customer inquiries, provide quotations, and follow up to close deals.
7. Maintain accurate sales records and prepare weekly reports.
8. Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
9. Provide feedback to management to support product development and strategic decisions.
10. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activities.
11. Ensure proper documentation of all sales transactions.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1–3 years’ proven sales experience preferably in the construction industry
3. Strong understanding of construction supply chains and industry stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
5. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to build strong client relationships and manage long sales cycles.
8. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
