Job Description
The Shop Attendant will support daily shop operations by ensuring a clean and organized environment, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining accurate stock and sales records. The ideal candidate should be reliable, customer-friendly, and able to work with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attend to customers and handle sales transactions
2. Clean and arrange the shop to ensure it is neat and attractive to customers.
3. Attend to customers politely and assist them in selecting products.
4. Display and arrange goods on shelves and racks properly.
5. Record daily sales and report to management.
6. Check stock levels regularly and notify management of shortages.
7. Handle cash and issue receipts accurately.
8. Assist with restocking and receiving deliveries.
9. Create and post simple contents (photos, videos, stories) on social media pages.
10. Respond to customer messages and comments online
11. Support marketing activities and promote new products in-store and online
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum Diploma in any discipline
2. Minimum a year’s experience in sales or retail work is an advantage.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
5. Ability to do basic calculations and keep records.
6. Must be punctual and responsible.
7. Applicants must live around Accra Newtown and its surrounding areas.
