Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the organization's financial records, ensure statutory compliance, prepare financial reports, and support sound financial decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 1.⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate accounting records and post all financial transactions in Sage Accounting Software.
 2.⁠ ⁠Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
 3.⁠ ⁠Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
 4.⁠ ⁠Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
 5.⁠ ⁠Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, SSNIT, and other tax obligations.
 6.⁠ ⁠Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
 7.⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
 8.⁠ ⁠Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
 9.⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate fixed asset and inventory accounting records where applicable.
10.⁠ ⁠Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS
 1.⁠ ⁠Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
 2.⁠ ⁠Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant accounting experience.
 3.⁠ ⁠Professional qualification (CA Ghana, ACCA, ICA Ghana, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
 4.⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is mandatory.
 5.⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
 6.⁠ ⁠Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
 7.⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
 8.⁠ ⁠High level of integrity, respect, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
 9.⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
