Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team near ANC Mall, East Legon. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing both local and continental dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
2. Ensure all meals are served on time and meet customer expectations
3. Always maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
4. Assist in planning menus and food portioning
5. Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
6. Follow proper food storage, labeling, and handling procedures
7. Comply with all health and safety regulations
8. Support the kitchen team with other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Culinary certification or vocational training is a plus
2. Proven experience as a cook or chef (minimum 2 years preferred)
3. Ability to prepare both Ghanaian and continental dishes
4. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
5. Good time management and organizational skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. Must live within or around East Legon
9. Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
