Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hair Educator / Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching hair styling, cutting, coloring, treatment techniques, and general cosmetology practices to students or professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions on hair care, styling, cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments.
• Provide one-on-one and group instruction to students, apprentices, or salon staff.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and hygiene standards in all cosmetology practices.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support their professional development.
• Develop and update educational materials, manuals, and curriculum content.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
• Assist in product demos, workshops, and events as a brand ambassador if required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized teaching or salon environment.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Licensed Cosmetologist or Hair Stylist is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional salon experience.
• Strong knowledge of various hair types and textures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching and helping others grow.
• Familiarity with cosmetology curriculum and teaching methods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or travel if needed.
• Patient, approachable, and motivational personality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
