Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial machines to ensure efficient production output. The role involves setting up equipment, performing routine checks, and ensuring that all machines operate according to company standards, safety regulations, and production targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate and monitor machinery during production processes
2. Set up machines before production and adjust settings as required
3. Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing quality output
4. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
5. Identify and report mechanical faults or abnormalities
6. Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
7. Maintain cleanliness and order around machine workstations
8. Record production data and machine performance
9. Assist in minimizing downtime and production delays
10. Work closely with supervisors and maintenance teams
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of SHS, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial field
2. Proven experience as a Machine Operator is an advantage
3. Basic technical and mechanical knowledge
4. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures strictly
5. Good attention to detail and accuracy
6. Physically fit and able to work in shifts
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
8. Team player with good communication skills
