Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to support the daily operations of our bakery in Tema Community 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring quality control, managing inventory, and supporting staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee daily bakery operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
2. Monitor production schedules and coordinate with the bakery team to meet customer demands
3. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
4. Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies, and liaise with suppliers for timely restocking
5. Maintain records of production, sales, and operational costs
6. Assist in staff supervision, shift scheduling, and performance tracking
7. Address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions
8. Support the implementation of operational policies and procedures
9. Prepare and submit regular operational reports to management
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations or administrative support (experience in food production or retail is a plus)
3. Strong organizational and time management skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Must reside in or be willing to commute to Tema Community 2
WORKING HOURS: MONDAY – SATURDAY (7:30AM – 6PM)
