Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Production Shift-In Supervisor to oversee and manage daily operations on the factory floor during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production, compliance with quality and safety standards, and efficiency in biscuit manufacturing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise production staff during the assigned shift and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor machinery, processes, and output to meet quality and quantity targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Conduct shift handovers, briefings, and maintain production logs.
• Train and motivate team members to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product consistency.
• Manage raw material usage and minimize wastage.
• Report production data and incidents to the Production Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a food production or FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Proficiency in production management software or ERP systems
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and team management skills Ability to work under pressure and on rotating shifts.
• Highly organized with great time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various departments.
