Job Description
The Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products, identifying potential customers, maintaining existing client relationships, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, results-oriented, and passionate about achieving targets and expanding market reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
2. Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential customers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
3. Promote company products to ensure high visibility and availability in key outlets.
4. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
5. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
6. Collaborate with the marketing and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
7. Attend promotional activities, trade fairs, and exhibitions to enhance brand presence.
8. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
9. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and client interactions.
10. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in FMCG sales or a similar role.
3. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
4. Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
