Job Description
A stockkeeper is responsible for managing the physical inventory within a warehouse or store, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate records of all stock movements and levels.
KEY DUTIES
1. Receive and check deliveries for quality and quantity.
2. Store items properly in storerooms, fridges, and freezers.
3. Maintain accurate stock records and issue supplies as needed.
4. Monitor stock levels and report shortages on time.
5. Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) to reduce waste.
6. Keep storerooms clean, safe, and organized.
7. Assist in regular stock counts and audits.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
1. SHS/WASSCE certificate or higher.
2. 1years’ experience in stock keeping (restaurant/hospitality preferred).
3. Good record-keeping and basic computer skills.
4. Honest, reliable, and detail oriented.
5. Applicants must be willing to relocate
6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
