Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Cybersecurity Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security and a talent for breaking down complex concepts into digestible lessons for students. This role involves teaching cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools while preparing learners for real-world applications and certifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and deliver engaging lessons on cybersecurity topics including network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, risk management, firewalls, and malware analysis.
• Guide students through hands-on labs, simulations, and practical projects.
• Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and threats to update course materials accordingly.
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and presentations.
• Support students preparing for certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and ethical thinking.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Proven experience in a cybersecurity role (minimum 2 years).
• Prior teaching or training experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create inclusive and adaptive learning experiences for students with diverse backgrounds
