Job Description
Oversee the supply chain operations for our client, including the efficient management of import/export activities, distribution logistics, and sales and operations planning processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Production Departments to drive successful plan execution.
2. Set and track targets for forecast accuracy, operational performance, inventory levels, and costs, ensuring alignment and optimal results.
3. Lead logistics operations, including clearing, transportation, and warehousing.
4. Monitor and optimize logistics performance metrics, such as cycle time, customer satisfaction, and costs.
5. Oversee sourcing and purchasing of marketing and production materials and foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and performance.
6. Design and execute strategic supply chain plans, analyzing market trends and business needs to drive long-term success (up to 3 years).
7. Manage and develop the supply chain team to deliver business objectives, equipping them with necessary skills and resources for sales and operations support and project success.
8. Spearhead the design, development, and upkeep of supply chain IT tools, leveraging technologies like RDBMS, web development, and cloud platforms to drive business efficiency.
9. Ensure supply chain operations meet company standards by reviewing, validating, and optimizing processes.
10. Directly accountable to the Country CEO for supply chain performance reporting, providing insights and analysis to EXCO and the Board.
11. Guide and oversee supply chain-related projects, providing expertise and direction.
12. Oversee budget planning and financial management for the department.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
2. 8-10 years' Supply Chain experience (FMCG preferred), with 6+ years in senior management.
3. Demonstrated expertise in managing large factory/company warehouses, familiar with factory logistics models, planning, production, warehousing and heating preparation.
4. Knowledge in supply chain principles and practices, including MRP, S&OP, distribution, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and supplier management.
5. Proficiency in IT systems, including database management, web development, cloud solutions, and Microsoft applications (VBA, FileMaker, MS Nav, MS Office).
6. Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results.
7. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing talent.
8. Skilled in managing third-party suppliers and negotiating contracts.
9. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders.
10. Able to provide objective rationales in planning and decision-making.
